Promotion Extended Given Positive Travel Agent Response.
Carnival Cruise Lines is extending its current “Reuniting for Fun” group promotion through the end of October based on positive travel agent response.
With the promotion, an initial deposit will not be required for group bookings on departures between March 1, 2015, and April 30, 2016. In addition, Carnival is offering travel agents one free cruise berth for every 10 full fare guests berthed, compared to the line’s current policy of one free cruise berth for every 15 full fare guests berthed. As a special bonus, Carnival is offering one free cruise berth for every eight full fare guests berthed on select five- to 14-day sailings from a number of U.S. homeports, including Galveston, Baltimore, New York, San Juan and Port Canaveral.
“We heard such positive feedback from travel agents surrounding this promotion that we wanted to extend it through the end of October, especially as many agents will be hosting events for CLIA’s National Cruise Vacation Week,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “With the initial deposit waiver, enhanced free cruise berth opportunity and very attractive fares, this promotion is a great sales opportunity for agents.”
Group fares applicable to this promotion, which are available between now and October 31, 2014, begin at $249 for three- to five-day cruises and $449 for voyages of six-days or longer. Certain restrictions apply.
